Human Centered Media Storage
ELEMENTS develops and distributes storage solutions for the media and entertainment industry. Instead of highlighting the various IT aspects of their brand, the company, headquartered in Düsseldorf, London, and Los Angeles, focuses on the everyday life and needs of users. Our task was to translate this philosophy into a visual identity that translates the industry’s technical focus into an emotional design language.
Succinct Logo System
By stacking individual graphic elements, we created an iconic image-mark that resembles server racks and media storage. The pixel based aesthetic also points to ELEMENTS’s origins – the IT industry. The word-mark is based on a modular stencil font also subtly references the brand name.
Differentiation through Product Logos
Since ELEMENT’s products are visually similar, it is important to establish unique graphics to differentiate between different products. All product logos are based on a simple grid that concisely points to the functionality of each product.
The ELEMENTS stand at the world’s largest media and entertainment trade show
The international media and entertainment industry meets once a year at the IBC in Amsterdam. On behalf of ELEMENTS, g31 developed a 60m² trade show stand concept showcasing its innovative product portfolio in the framework of the new brand world. The spatial design of the trade show stand addresses the needs of the users, rather than merely highlighting the technical aspects of the products.

The new ELEMENTS website conveys complex content, and technically sophisticated products in a striking and accessible way. The foundation of our holistic development process is the in house coordination of the website concept, information architecture and programming with the webdesign, infographics, copywriting, and photography.

The combination of sophisticated, responsive web design with inspiring copywriting and an aesthetic image language set a new standard for digital brand communication in an industry dominated by technical features. Instead of focusing solely on the IT aspects of technical products, we target the needs of their users without neglecting to highlight product-specific subtleties.

ELEMENTS operates in the highly innovative and multi-faceted media and entertainment industry. Therefore, it is essential to appeal to the interests and demands of a wide range of user types through a variety of specialized sub-pages that focus on their specific needs.
Integrated features with real added value
Various website features have been developed in close consultation with the client that tangibly add value to the user experience. These features include an intelligent product filter, a comprehensive glossary function for explaining technical terms, as well as an interactive reseller map.
