Rebranding and website for a partner-led, international M&A boutique

BKR supports and counsels its clients as empathic specialists and reliable sparring partners in the acquisition and sale of companies. The experienced team at BKR always puts people first; companies are of secondary importance. Their entire consulting processes centers around this philosophy. We were asked to translate this approach into a new brand environment with rough edges and a high-profile corporate website. Loosely based on the BKR credo: „Sometimes you have to change something to stay true to yourself.“
A brand image characterized by a distinct graphic language
Starting with a square grid, we developed a graphic toolkit with components derived from the abstract idea of a transaction: the purposeful connection of corporations and people. The distinctiveness of the visual system permeates the entire brand identity – from the prominent logo to the customized icon and number set.
An antithesis between elegant typography and grid aesthetics
Clarity and empathy in communication are integral to BKR’s consulting services. In order to visually reflect these aspects, we introduced two new corporate fonts that combine to make the brand environment warmer and more dynamic. An energetic and variable color palette further helps to find the right tone of address depending on the context.
A new website to distinguish the company profile
BKR’s charismatic web presence transfers the high quality of its consulting services and references into an appropriate visual and verbal framework. Distinctive texts and an authentic imagery in combination with well-dosed animations and intricate designs complete the convincing digital presence of the M&A boutique.
