A graphic game based on floor numbers
The Hüls 21 medical center located in Kevelaer, Germany, is home to the Paeßens dental practice, an orthopedic practice, a neurological center, and an assisted living facility. Our task was to develop a graphic orientation system to create a cohesive and welcoming atmosphere to a wide range of clients. Through the generous, experimental use of the building’s floor numbers in the design, we not only enhanced the aesthetics of each floor through bold graphics but also gave an otherwise anonymous-looking building an independent, spatial identity.
