The publication “Menschen prägen unsere Stadt” (People shape our city), published by city of Düsseldorf, seeks to inspire citizens who want to commit to the common wellbeing of the city by engaging with the charities and foundations that are active in the city. Atmospheric photographs and informative text dressed in elegant typography provide a comprehensive snapshot of the stories behind the work undertaken by the municipal charity and foundation management team.
There is a story behind every foundation
Generous inspirational illustrations accompany the exciting stories behind the various charities and foundations in the city and the unique personalities behind them. These images encourage the viewer to look more closely at how these organizations shape their city by showcasing their work – ranging from the promotion of children’s literacy and animal protection – to academic scholarships and the preservation of historical buildings and monuments.
